Melody Wallace & Dixie
Tracy & Budwiser
Tracy Harbers resides in Cherryvale, Kansas. As a child she always had an interest in horses. Her love for horses began while working at a Veterinarian Hospital in Kansas City during and after high school. In 1994, She moved to Stark, Kansas and raised 3 children while attending college and achieving a 20 year career in the nursing field. Tracy has always had a strong dedication for family and was never able to commit faithfully to owning a horse, so the occasional ride was satisfying. Now at the age of 50, Tracy has decided to enjoy her life even more. With little experience in the saddle, she started by joining the Chanute Bit & Spur Saddle Club where she became secretary. However was still without a horse to ride. Now she has two horses, "Boogie" who is young, fun and has more speed than needed right now and "BudWiser" who is older, charming and has the experience to gain my confidence. As she continues to ride in events such as parades, trail rides and just quality family fun time she is learning and embracing this time to gain knowledge and has a goal to be able to participate in next years Drill Team performance.
